Founded in 1988, AFC, a family owned and operated company, is a world leader in the manufacture of high-performance coated & laminated fabrics. AFC sells its products through distributors and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) under the trade names DuraFab®, DuraFlow®, DuraSil®, DuraStick®, DuraLam® and DuraChef â. The company designs and manufactures PTFE and silicone coated & laminated fabrics and conveyor belting, along with an extensive line of pressure sensitive tapes.

Fabrics

AFC produces a wide range of PTFE and silicone fabrics using substrates such as fiberglass, Kevlar®, Nomex®, rayon and polyesters. AFC’s fabrics are sold under the trade names of DuraFab®, DuraFlow®, DuraLam® and DuraChef® and are available in widths up to 141”. AFC's fabrics offer unique characteristics such as excellent release, durability, tear resistance, anti-static, porous and excellent dielectric strength. These fabrics can be supplied as either rolled goods or as fabricated products.

Belting

AFC’s DuraFab®, DuraLam®, DuraFlow® and DuraChef® fabrics are used to manufacture an extensive line of belts and fabricated parts ranging in thickness from .003” to over .060”. AFC can fabricate belts in widths ranging from ½” up to 141” with a variety of belt options such as edge reinforcements, splices and tracking guides. Pressure Sensitive Tapes

AFC manufactures and distributors a wide range of pressure sensitive tapes to meet the most demanding applications. Our DuraStick® tapes are manufactured on a variety of substrates including PTFE coated woven fiberglass, silicone coated woven fiberglass, skived PTFE film, extruded PTFE film, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW) film, polyimide film, woven fiberglass cloth and silicone sponge. AFC tapes are available with acrylic, silicone and rubber adhesive and can be provided with or without liner. DuraStick® tapes can be supplier as either a full width roll or slit to size. AFC’s other capabilities included sheeting, custom die cutting and perforating.
