AFC Transitions Chris Lewis to Vice President of Strategic Development

Lake In The Hills, IL – July 11, 2006 – Advanced Flexible Composites, Inc. (AFC) announced the transition of Chris Lewis to the newly created position of Vice President of Strategic Development. Chris will be responsible for directing the growth initiatives of AFC, including research and development; acquisitions; joint venture creation; and other similar activities. Chris will continue to maintain oversight of the administrative functions of AFC. Prior to this move, Chris was AFC’s Vice President and CFO for eight years overseeing many of AFC’s growth initiatives.

 Chris has been involved most of his life in the family business. Chris rejoined AFC after receiving his M.B.A. in Strategy and Finance from Babson College in Massachusetts, where he graduated Suma Cum Laude. Prior to receiving his M.B.A., Chris was senior consultant with Anderson Consulting where he spent four years in their financial services and distribution business units. Chris received his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Management Information Systems from Miami University in Ohio.
