AFC and BH Announce Launch of Central and South American Joint Venture

Lake In The Hills, IL – July 21, 2003 -- Advanced Flexible Composites, Inc (“AFC”) and Bolbrugge Hermanos S.A. de C.V. (“BH”) are pleased to announce the formation of
AFC-BH, S. de R.L. de C.V., a jointly owned corporation based in Mexico City, Mexico.
AFC-BH is the result of a 5-year relationship between the two companies, and was created to fill the need for a high-value, customer-oriented supplier to service the fast growing Central and Northern South America markets, as well as the Caribbean Islands. The new company will leverage AFC’s in-depth industry, product and technical knowledge and BH’s sales, service and market expertise.

AFC-BH manufactures, fabricates and sells PTFE and silicone coated fabrics, belting and pressure-sensitive tapes. The company also distributes related and complementary products such as, PTFE and UHMW films, silicone sponge and foam, and fluorosilicone sheeting.
