AFC Introduces New HTX Series of Heat Sealers
Lake In The Hills, IL –– July 28, 2009--- Advanced Flexible Composites, Inc. (AFC) introduces its new HTX Series of heat sealers. AFC’s New HTX series replaces the original HT Series. The new HTX Series consist of 6 completely redesigned models. The New HTX series offer many improvements for safety and performance. The HTX heat sealers are intended for use by installers of PTFE expansion joints, flue duct couplings, PTFE coated architectural structures, as well as for use in simple belt sealing application with a seam width of 1”.
Ed Kennedy, AFC’s Industrial Belting Marketing Manager states, “The new temperature controller has been designed specifically for the HTX series. The new design offers improvements such as; open circuit shutdown in the event of a thermocouple failure, temperature limits from a range of 700°-800°F and improved durability. The HTX series of sealers are the ideal tool for on the job site sealing and portability.”
