AFC Announces Addition of Wide Coating Capabilities

Lake In The Hills, IL –– August 26, 2004 --Advanced Flexible Composites, Inc. (AFC) is pleased to announce the addition of a new 84” coating capability. The new process will support AFC’s DuraSil® silicone fabric and belting product lines. AFC is a worldwide leader in the manufacturing and engineering of silicone coated fabrics and conveyor belts for use in food processing, packaging, polymer processing, aluminum processing, architectural fabrics, insulation fabrics, gasket, seals and membranes.

AFC’s DuraSil® silicone products are available in multiple colors and in up to three plied silicone fabric layers to meet the most demanding environments. AFC will seek to utilize their wide capabilities to develop new and innovative solutions in the silicone, neoprene, hypalon and other specialty coated fabric niches. Additionally, AFC will be able to offer acrylic and silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive products in widths wider than typically available in their industries.
