The DuraSil® Fabric 30-35 Series
The DuraSil® Silicone Series is the most conformable, flexible and wear resistant product line offered by AFC. This series is made from woven fiberglass substrates that have been coated on one or both sides with silicone rubber. These fabrics provide a higher friction surface with different release qualities than PTFE (Fluon®) coated fabrics. In fact, some products that may adhere to PTFE coated fabrics may not adhere to a silicone coated surfaces. Available in multiple colors and with multiple plies, up to three (depending on desired tensile strength), these fabrics are used in applications where a surface grip with excellent release is desired.
